In the third quarter of 2021, the top five air travel apps in Ghana exhibited notable performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active user metrics. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

PassionAir witnessed a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 311 in the week of September 6. The app maintained consistent download numbers with slight fluctuations, ranging from 170 to 310 downloads per week throughout the quarter.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker showed an upward trend in weekly revenue, culminating at approximately $75 in the final week of September. Weekly downloads for the app varied, reaching a high of 331 in the week of September 20. Active users also increased steadily, peaking at 941 during the same week.

Emirates experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, with a notable peak of 371 in the week of August 30. Active users followed a similar trend, increasing to 715 in the same week, and maintaining relatively high numbers thereafter.

Africa World Airlines saw a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, ranging from 179 to 268 during the quarter. The highest downloads were recorded in the week of July 26 with 268 downloads.

Ethiopian Airlines showed a gradual increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 279 in the last week of September. The app's active users also saw a positive trend, reaching 913 by the end of the quarter.
